A new generation of chain mulcher for grass and brushwood
Trejon presents a new generation of chain-mulcher, the OPTIMAL M1650 mulcher for grass and brushwood. The new model has some outstanding new details and constructive solutions: integrated side shift that decreases the weight of the machine and the wear on the tractor, hydraulic release-valve, power transmission with integrated cardan shaft with friction clutch, furthermore the mulching-head is made by HARDOX-steel, all these details guarantee that your machine is made to last and work for many years.
- Many of our customers have asked for a lighter version of our mulchers with integrated side
shift for a long time, says Simon Nygren, responsible technician for OPTIMAL. OPTIMAL M1650 offers integrated hydraulic side shift +-650 mm. For a safe working environment OPTIMAL M1650 has front protection in rubber and rear production by a chain curtain.
Furthermore,the new OPTIMAL M1650 comes with a release-valve that turns the mulching-head
upwards and backwards in case of collision with for example a stone. Afterwards the machine gets automatically back into the standard position.
The new type of construction with shaft-transmission instead of belt-transmission makes it possible to work even on roads with barriers. Together with the design of the boom you can reach the ground behind the barrier. The cardan-shaft is produced by Walterscheid, German, and it´s equipped with friction clutch. This solution grants to minimize power-loses out to the mulching-head.
OPTIMAL mulchers are the right choice to work under tough conditions on forest-roads or field-edges with lots of stones or other objects in the soil and vegetation. The chains shatter effectively twigs and undergrowth resulting in an impeded regrowth.
As an option we offer a knife-set for fine-cut and moving of grass-areas.

The construction is robust and the mulching-head is made entirely by HARDOX-steel. The power-transmission is made to work under extreme conditions and professional usage. The chain reservoir
is the same as on our classic M160 which proved its quality under many years. It offers space for 25 links (10mm chain). We deliver our mulchers with both 10mm and 13mm chain in standard.
The forerunner OPTIMAL M160 was a success both in Sweden, Scandinavia and other European countries.
